Facebook was founded by Mark Zuckerberg in February of 2004. That's it, he founded it all by himself right... wrong! He had help from his fellow computer science students Eduardo Saverin, Dustin Moskovitz and Chris Hughes. I bet you didn't know that did you?

Facebook started out as only being available to Harvard students. That's right, you and I weren't even allowed to have a facebook at that time! But it didn't take Facebook long to branch out to other area colleges like Stanford University. After branching out to Stanford, Facebook became available to all college students, then to high school students and then finally anyone who was 13 or older. We can all have our very own Facebook profile! They did it! Today, Facebook currently has more than 500 million active users worldwide.

So who here is addicted to Facebook? Please raise your hands... ok you can put your hands down! I can't see them anyway! Haha I got you on that one didn't I?

We all know Facebook is the hottest thing going on the internet right now! Facebook addicts just can't wait to get off work and rush home to play facebook games or update their status on their facebook walls!
